4 Reasons why I stop following MARIE KONDO, author of Magic of Tidying up.

manishmagic4

I read her all books from the life-changing magic of tidying up, Spark Joy & Joy at work. Started organizing my home with boxes & folding the clothes as mentioned by her, then I came across minimalism which changed my thinking & life.

ORGANIZING IS NOT MINIMIZING

Reason 1: Organizing is a temporary solution

Don’t you think, if organizing was the solution, then there was no need for organizing again? Till your stuff is in the home, it must be stored and cleaned again & again.

Reason 2: Minimizing comes before Organizing

If you possess too much, minimizing comes first. Minimizing possession is a permanent act. When the stuff leaves our home, it frees the physical space. You can sell, donate, recycle, or discard.

Reason 3: Extra Stuff can help others

Many are in need. By giving away, you are helping others who are in need. Be generous with the resources.

Reason 4: It changes us from inside

Minimizing things gets to self-reflection. What is important in life. When the stuff leaves, you can reflect on the most important like Experience, Relationships & Health

My purpose is to live a meaningful & intentional life with less stuff, less stress, less anxiety and more experience, more relationship, and more freedom.
