Loving what is. Not just accepting what is happening in your life but embracing/loving it. Having a mindset that says, this is what I wanted. Good or Bad is the label we put on the incident/situations as we have expectation. If it is as per our expectation then it is good, if not then it is bad. However, we do not know, whatever is happening into our life is going to impact us in long run. For example, Warren Buffett expectation was to study at Harvard University & got admission in Columbia Business School where he met his mentor Benjamin Graham author of Intelligent Investor. So we do not know what is good for us.
Accept with love. If you are hungry think you have a body & can feel the hunger, Amor fati. If you lose the job, Amor fati, Now you can pursue your dream. Whatever happens, accept as you have asked for it. I understand, if a loved one passes away, it's difficult to say Amor fati, however how much can you grief, the situation is not going to change. I am not advocating to suppress your emotion. Feel the emotions, however, carry on with your life and make the best out of it. Someone can ask why it has happened to me, you are the only one who can handle such type of happening. Marcus Aurelius in his journal says, good that the plague has happened during his time as he can handle it.
If someone takes credit for your work, Amor fati, If someone speaks bad about you, Amor fati. Have the faith in love.
As Albert Einstein said the most important question to be asked is. Is this a friendly universe or hostile? whatever is the answer, you are going to get it. If you try to find good in situation you find, if you search for bad in a situation, you will find it too. Once you ask the question Is it true? you will understand that many things are only what we perceive instead of actually happening. The meaning we give to the situation. All thoughts that we are having is recycled one, there is no new thought. Think it over. If you are saying that your child is not working hard in his studies. This is not a new thought. It’s a universal thought. There is no new thought. But once you meditate on the question, Is it true? you will understand that sometimes it is not true, it is the perception of. Sometime it could be. However, it is only thought that disturbs us not the person himself. It is the thought about the person, not the person which disturbs. Once you understand the mechanism of the mind, it is easy to understand the situation and behave accordingly.
